Bavarian police investigate abandoned body of Romanian national

German authorities in Bavaria are investigating the death of a Romanian national whose body was discovered in a parking lot near the Sylvenstein Reservoir in Lenggries on August 23. Forensic evidence indicates the body was transported approximately 100 kilometers by vehicle before being abandoned near the Faller-Klamm bridge.

While an autopsy has not indicated a violent death, investigators are focusing on a 59-year-old German woman. The deceased man had been employed by her for manual labor. The suspect is currently being investigated for a potential failure to provide assistance to the victim.
