Bavarian trip features Oktoberfest and Neuschwanstein Castle

A group of hikers organized a trip through Slovenia and Austria to visit various landmarks in Germany. The itinerary included a visit to the Liechtensteinklamm gorge south of Salzburg and a stay in Rosenheim.

The group traveled to Munich and then to Wiesn for the Oktoberfest festival, which has been held for over 200 years. Following the festival, the group visited Neuschwanstein Castle, which was commissioned by Bavarian King Ludwig II in 1869.
