Bavarian vocational schools celebrate new graduates in Marxheim and Rottenbuch

On 30 July 2026, the Catholic vocational school of the Stiftung Sankt Johannes in Marxheim held a ceremony for the 72nd cohort of village helpers, awarding diplomas to twelve women who completed a long‑standing training program. The event featured a mass led by Dr. Andreas Magg, speeches from local officials, and the honoring of Anni Stöckl for her service. Graduates are prepared to support Bavarian farms with household, stable, field and childcare duties.

Later the same day, the Don‑Bosco Berufsfachschule in Rottenbuch celebrated the graduation of fifteen child‑care trainees – fourteen women and one man – after a two‑year program. The ceremony included remarks from school director Lars Heimke and mayor Markus Bad, highlighting the graduates' readiness to work in nurseries, kindergartens, homes or continue further studies. Nine will enter childcare settings immediately, while six plan to pursue additional qualifications.

Both ceremonies underscore the role of regional vocational education in supplying skilled workers to Bavaria’s agricultural and childcare sectors.
