Baveno lakeside piano concert and Camaiore sax performance spotlight Italian summer music
On the night of August 10, the duo Gelfini‑Olzer performed a four‑hand piano concert on a stage set directly on the waters of Lake Maggiore in Baveno. The event was part of the "Baveno e Feriolo d’Incanto" summer programme, featuring illuminated fountains and the meteor shower of San Lorenzo, and attracted both residents and tourists to the lakeside promenade.
In Camaiore, the rock group Le Vibrazioni invited saxophonist Andrea Biviano from Lipari to join them on stage. Biviano played the band’s popular song "Una notte d’estate," earning enthusiastic applause from the audience. The performance highlighted the ongoing collaboration between the band and musicians from the Aeolian Islands, reinforcing their presence in Italy’s national music scene.
