Bawaslu leadership conducts performance reflection ahead of term end

Members of the Indonesian Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) are conducting a leadership reflection as their term approaches its conclusion. During a media discussion titled ‘Refleksi Kepemimpinan Bawaslu Jelang 5 Tahun’ held in Pangandaran, West Java, Bawaslu member Lolly Suhenty emphasized the importance of evaluating the agency's performance before the current leadership cycle ends.

Suhenty noted that holding this reflection during a non-election period allows for clearer, more rational criticism and evaluation, free from the distractions of active election stages. She called for honest feedback from the press to identify both successes and areas for improvement. The goal is to use these insights to strengthen the democratic ecosystem in preparation for the 2029 elections.
