Bayam Kızıllıkları emerges as a new tourism destination in Kars
Located between the villages of Kötek and Bayam in the Kağızman district of Kars, Turkey, the Bayam Kızıllıkları region is gaining attention as an alternative tourism route for hiking and photography.
The area features unique red rock formations, including mushroom-shaped rocks created by millions of years of wind and flood erosion. These geological structures have drawn interest from nature groups and photographers due to their resemblance to the canyons in Arizona, USA.
Local organizers, including the Kağızman Teacher's House Sports Club, are conducting regular hiking events to promote the district and showcase the natural landscape to visitors.
