Baycurrent Classic PGA Tour event to be held at Yokohama Country Club

The Baycurrent Classic Presented by LEXUS, the only PGA Tour official event held in Asia, is scheduled to take place from October 8 to 11 at the Yokohama Country Club in Japan.

To promote the tournament, an experiential event is currently being held in Marunouchi, Tokyo. The event features putting challenges, official trophy photo opportunities, and golf apparel displays. Former professional golfer Hideyuki Nakajima appeared as a special guest to discuss the tournament's highlights and the technical challenges of the Yokohama Country Club course.

Notable players expected to compete include Hideki Matsuyama, Xander Schauffele, Justin Thomas, Rickie Fowler, and Jordan Spieth. The tournament, which began in 2019 as the ZOZO Championship, will see Baycurrent take over as the title sponsor starting in 2025.

Delta Air Lines has returned as the official global airline for the event. The airline will host brand awareness campaigns, exhibit PGA Tour visuals at its Haneda Airport lounge, and operate a dedicated hospitality booth and interactive brand events at the Yokohama Country Club during the tournament.
