Bayer 04 Leverkusen expands Brazilian academy presence

The BA04 Football Academy, part of Bayer 04 Leverkusen, recently conducted a four-day training camp at the Escola Alemã Corcovado in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The program hosted 50 children and adolescents aged 6 to 15, focusing on the official training methodology used by the German club's youth categories.

The camp featured participation from 1994 World Cup champion Jorginho and was led by Paulo Sérgio, a former World Cup winner and Bayer 04 Leverkusen icon who oversees the academy's operations in Brazil. The curriculum combined technical and tactical football training with values such as discipline, respect, teamwork, and decision-making.

This initiative is part of a broader expansion strategy for Bayer 04 Leverkusen in Brazil. Following the club's main team pre-season in the country in 2025, the organization has established the BA04 Football Academy in São Paulo and continues to grow through strategic partnerships and regional camps.
