Bayer is evaluating the development of products to mitigate side effects associated with GLP-1 medications used for obesity treatment. The pharmaceutical company is focusing on digestive health, multivitamins, nutrition, and protein supplements to address issues such as nausea, constipation, and muscle mass loss.

This initiative is part of Bayer's strategic expansion in India, where the company aims to triple its consumer health business by 2030. If successful, India would become Bayer's third most important global market for this division.
