Bayer Italia relocates headquarters to Milan's Mind innovation district
Bayer Italia is relocating its national headquarters to the Milano Innovation District (Mind) in Milan. The new offices will occupy nearly 4,000 square meters across two levels within the Horizon building, which is noted as Italy’s tallest wooden structure at approximately 53 meters.
The move is intended to integrate the company into a collaborative ecosystem comprising businesses, universities, research centers, hospitals, and startups. According to CEO Arianna Gregis, the relocation represents the company’s future direction and its commitment to innovation and synergy within the district.
This transition coincides with a broader organizational shift toward the ‘Dynamic Shared Ownership’ (DSO) model. This model aims to increase corporate agility and speed by utilizing autonomous, cross-functional teams and shared responsibility to better meet the needs of stakeholders and clients.
