Bayer signs first lease at São Paulo’s tallest building
Bayer has signed its first lease agreement for the Edifício Alto das Nações, the tallest building in São Paulo. The multinational corporation will rent six floors, totaling approximately 16,000 square meters, for its new administrative headquarters. The transition to the new site is expected to take place in 2028.
The lease was secured through Altre, a company belonging to Grupo Votorantim. While the deal follows negotiations with Itaú Unibanco, Bayer's move highlights a trend in the ‘triple A’ office sector, where vacancy rates for high-standard spaces are decreasing. The Edifício Alto das Nações has a total leasable area of 98,000 square meters, leaving 84% of the space available for future tenants.
