Bayerischer Rundfunk launches BayernsKinder initiative

Bayerischer Rundfunk (BR) has launched the ‘BayernsKinder’ initiative, a program designed to fulfill the wishes of children aged three to 13. From September 20 to October 18, children can submit their heartfelt wishes or apply for specific activities via the broadcaster's website.

Supported by various personalities from sports, culture, and society—including Rea Garvey, Alvaro Soler, Felix Neureuther, and Tobi Krell—the initiative offers unique experiences such as recording songs, visiting newsrooms, or meeting celebrities. The program also includes a partnership with FC Bayern, offering opportunities like attending Champions League matches.

The campaign will culminate in the ARD Children's Radio Night on November 27, accompanied by events in Munich and Nuremberg. Throughout the period from November 18 to 27, BR programming will focus on children's perspectives and their views on the world.
