Bayern Munich considers winter transfers for defense and attack

Bayern Munich is considering several squad adjustments during the upcoming January transfer window. The club is unofficially exploring the possibility of signing a left-sided attacker to provide depth and competition in the offensive line, though no specific targets have been confirmed.

In defense, the club is reportedly planning a restructuring. Bayern Munich may seek to sell Kim Min-jae for approximately €40 million, a move that could also reduce the club's wage bill by roughly €8 million. Potential suitors for the South Korean defender include Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, and AC Milan.

If Kim Min-jae departs, Bayern Munich has identified Jules Kounde of FC Barcelona as a priority target due to his versatility in defense. The club is also monitoring other options, such as Benfica's Tomas Araujo. While no formal contact has been made with Barcelona regarding Kounde, the club is closely observing his situation.
