Bayern Munich defeats Auckland City 10-0 in Club World Cup record win

Bayern Munich achieved a record-breaking victory in their FIFA Club World Cup campaign, defeating Auckland City FC 10-0 at TQL Stadium in Cincinnati. The win marks the largest margin of victory in the history of the men’s Club World Cup.

Kingsley Coman opened the scoring in the 6th minute, followed by goals from Sacha Boey, Michael Olise, and Thomas Müller. Olise scored again before halftime to give Bayern a 6-0 lead. In the second half, Jamal Musiala returned from injury to score a hat-trick, including a penalty, while Müller added a second goal to finalize the scoreline.

Head coach Vincent Kompany utilized the heavy lead to rotate the squad, providing a senior debut for 17-year-old Lennart Karl. Auckland City, a semi-professional side from New Zealand, struggled to contain the Bundesliga champions throughout the match.
