Bayern Munich denies sale of Michael Olise amid transfer interest

Bayern Munich has addressed growing transfer speculation regarding French winger Michael Olise. While reports suggested the club might seek to renew his contract to include a release clause of approximately 200 million euros, Bayern has reportedly warned interested parties, including Liverpool and Real Madrid, that the player is not for sale regardless of the financial offer.

Despite the current stance, Bayern Munich leadership has adopted a cautious approach regarding Olise's long-term future. CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen indicated that the club may evaluate his situation following the 2026-27 season. This follows a highly successful period for the attacker, who recorded 25 goals and 28 assists across 57 matches, earning him recognition as the Bundesliga's top assist provider and the 2025-26 Player of the Season in Germany.
