Bayern Munich near €55 million deal for PSV midfielder Ismael Saibari

Bayern Munich are close to completing a record transfer for PSV Eindhoven midfielder Ismael Saibari. Reports indicate the German club is prepared to pay between €48 million and €55 million, with a fixed fee of around €48 million plus bonuses, to secure the 25‑year‑old Moroccan international. The agreement is expected to be signed after a medical examination in the United States, where Bayern’s team doctor is currently with the German national squad.

Saibari, who helped PSV win the Eredivisie title and was named Eredivisie Player of the Year, attracted further attention with a striking goal against Brazil at the World Cup. PSV are set to receive a fee that would become the club’s most expensive outgoing transfer, surpassing the previous record of €49 million for Cody Gakpo. The midfielder is also reported to have reached a personal contract agreement with Bayern that could run until 2031.

The deal, if finalized before the summer transfer window closes, would reinforce Bayern’s attacking options and mark a significant financial milestone for PSV.
