Bayern Munich signs Moroccan forward Ismaël Saibari from PSV

Bayern Munich have reached a personal agreement with 25‑year‑old Moroccan international Ismaël Saibari, who spent the 2025/26 season at PSV Eindhoven. The midfielder‑forward recorded 19 goals and nine assists in 37 appearances across all competitions, including 15 goals and eight assists in 27 Eredivisie matches, helping PSV secure a third consecutive league title.

The Bavarian club plan to sign Saibari on a long‑term contract running to 2030‑31 under head coach Vincent Kompany. Bayern must still settle a club‑to‑club fee with PSV, reported to be around €60 million, with estimates ranging from €48‑58 million. The transfer follows Bayern’s interest after missing out on Newcastle striker Anthony Gordon, and is seen as a response to injuries to Serge Gnabry and other attacking options.

Saibari’s move has drawn attention from other European clubs, notably Paris Saint‑Germain, but Bayern appear to be the most advanced in negotiations. The deal is expected to be finalised before the World Cup, with a medical possibly arranged in the United States where Saibari will join the Moroccan national team.
