Bayern Munich pursued Bradley Barcola before Liverpool transfer

Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl has confirmed that the club pursued French winger Bradley Barcola before his transfer from Paris Saint-Germain to Liverpool. Eberl noted that he has followed Barcola since his time at RB Leipzig, which helped build a relationship with the player.

Ultimately, Bayern Munich decided not to proceed with the signing due to the high financial demands. The club opted instead to invest in Luis Díaz, a decision Eberl described as highly successful. Barcola eventually joined Liverpool in a deal valued at approximately 125 to 140 million euros.
