Bayern Munich rules out selling Harry Kane as Barcelona's pursuit stalls

Bayern Munich capped a successful season by winning the DFB‑Pokald final 3‑0 over Stuttgart, adding the cup to their Bundesliga title. Honorary president Uli Hoeness used the victory to dismiss rumours that Barcelona are interested in Harry Kane, stating the English striker is "the best signing we have ever made" and that Bayern will not sell him. Hoeness added that Barcelona "does not have the money" to compete for the player.

Barcelona have been linked with Kane as a potential replacement for Robert Lewandowski, but Kane, who is under contract until June 2027 and has scored 61 goals across all competitions this season, said he is happy at Bayern and sees no immediate reason to leave. The comments came as the German club celebrated their cup triumph and prepared for the upcoming international break.
