Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl poised for contract extension

Uli Hoeneß, Bayern Munich's honorary president, publicly backed sporting director Max Eberl for a new contract, stating the likelihood of an extension is now "100 percent" after previously rating it 60:40. Eberl, 52, said he was "very pleased" with Hoeneß's words and emphasized he is ready to discuss terms if the club wishes to continue his tenure.

Club president Herbert Hainer confirmed that the final decision rests with Bayern's supervisory board. He praised the club's recent transfer activity, highlighting the acquisitions of Ismael Saibari and Nathaniel Brown, and noted that the board will determine Eberl's future at the upcoming annual general meeting.
