Bayern Munich targets Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rogers

Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany has placed 23‑year‑old Aston Villa attacking midfielder Morgan Rogers on his transfer wish list. Rogers, who scored 16 goals and provided six assists in the 2025‑26 Premier League season, is under contract until 2031 and is valued at roughly £100 million (about €116 million). The German club faces stiff competition, with Premier League sides Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United also reported to be interested. Bayern would need to meet a record‑breaking fee, which club insiders say may be beyond the Bavarians’ reach.

German media note that despite the high price, Bayern could still pursue Rogers as part of a broader summer overhaul that may also see the arrival of other young talents such as Nathaniel Brown and Ismael Saibari.
