Bayern Munich targets Juventus striker Nick Woltemade
Bayern Munich has reportedly expressed interest in Nick Woltemade, the German striker currently on loan at Juventus from Newcastle United. According to reports from Bild and Tuttosport, Bayern Munich views the 24-year-old as a potential target for future seasons, with manager Vincent Kompany interested in his physical profile and technical ability to complement Harry Kane.
Woltemade joined Juventus on an expensive loan deal that does not include an automatic purchase option. While Juventus may wish to secure the player permanently if he performs well, Newcastle United is reportedly seeking a fee in the region of €60 million for a permanent transfer.
At present, Woltemade is focused on establishing himself in the Juventus starting lineup and regaining full match fitness. While Bayern Munich has reportedly made contact with the player's representatives, no official negotiations have taken place between the clubs.
