Bayern Munich targets Kaio Jorge to bolster striker depth

Bayern Munich is reportedly exploring options to strengthen its attacking depth behind primary striker Harry Kane. The German club is monitoring Brazilian striker Kaio Jorge from Cruzeiro, with scouts reportedly sent to Brazil to observe the 24-year-old's development.

Former Bayern midfielder Dietmar Hamann has criticized the club's current squad depth following a 0-0 draw against Schalke. Hamann suggested that the team is missing the impact of former loanee Nicolas Jackson, who recently joined Aston Villa, and Leon Goretzka, who also moved to Villa. Hamann noted that while he was not a major supporter of Jackson, the player's pace was vital for stretching play and creating space for teammates.

While Bayern has brought in Ismael Saibari from PSV Eindhoven to bolster the attack, Hamann argued that the departures of Jackson and Goretzka represent a significant loss of experience and goal contributions.
