Bayern Munich targets Olise and Koundé in busy summer transfer window
Bayern Munich is active in the summer transfer market on two fronts. French winger Michael Olise, currently at Bayern, plans to meet the club after the World Cup to discuss his future and has signaled a willingness to push for a move to Real Madrid if Bayern remains unwilling to sell. Bayern officials have indicated they will not release Olise even for a record fee, but the player’s determination could force negotiations.
The German club is also pursuing French defender Jules Koundé of Barcelona. Bayern’s sporting director has contacted Koundé’s representatives to assess contractual and fiscal terms. Barcelona have extended Koundé’s contract until 2030 and value the defender at around €60 million, aiming to retain him despite interest from other clubs. Bayern’s interest adds pressure to the ongoing negotiations over the defender’s next move.
