Bayern Munich signs Moroccan winger Ismael Saibari

FC Bayern Munich announced the signing of Moroccan international Ismael Saibari on a contract running until 30 June 2031. The club paid a transfer fee of roughly €50‑55 million to PSV Eindhoven and the player will wear the number 34 shirt, a tribute to former Ajax prospect Abdelhak Nouri.

Saibari arrived in Munich by private jet at Oberpfaffenhofen, was greeted by club officials including Max Eberl and Christoph Freund, and toured the Säbener Straße training complex. He is currently recovering from a thigh muscle injury sustained at the 2026 World Cup and will complete rehabilitation before joining the preseason camp overseen by manager Vincent Kompany.

The 24‑year‑old forward impressed at the World Cup with three goals for Morocco and recorded 15 goals and eight assists in the previous Eredivisie season.
