Baykar demonstrates internal‑bay strike capability and kamikaze drone formation tests

Baykar announced that its KIZILELMA unmanned combat aircraft successfully released the TEBER‑82 and TOLUN‑P precision weapons from its internal weapons bay on 30 July 2026, achieving direct hits on designated targets. The test confirmed safe internal‑store separation, precision guidance and the ability to engage both mobile and hardened targets, moving the programme toward a low‑observable deep‑strike configuration.

In a separate development, Baykar’s K2 Kamikaze UAVs completed autonomous formation‑flight trials, with ten drones operating in a coordinated swarm. The drones demonstrated GNSS‑denied navigation, EO/IR gimbal targeting, and the capacity to return to base after weapon release, showcasing long‑range, high‑speed performance and flexible logistics. Together, the milestones underline Turkey’s rapid progress in unmanned combat and swarm‑drone technologies.
