Baylor and Houston cross country teams compete at Aggie Opener

The Baylor and Houston cross country teams opened their seasons at the Aggie Opener held at the Watts Cross Country Course in College Station, Texas.

In the women's race, the University of Houston took second place with 42 points, led by Cadence Patterson, who finished fifth. The Baylor women's team placed third with 88 points, with Ella Perry securing ninth place.

In the men's race, Houston also secured a second-place finish with 38 points, featuring a second-place individual performance by Henok Hagos. The Baylor men finished fourth with 97 points, led by Jack Sterrett, who placed tenth in the 5K.
