Baylor Bears and Washington State Cougars announce 2026-27 non‑conference basketball schedules

Baylor University’s men’s basketball team released a 14‑game non‑conference slate for the 2026‑27 season, featuring eight home contests, a neutral‑site showdown with Texas in San Antonio, and participation in the Players Era Sixteen tournament in Las Vegas. The schedule opens on Nov. 2 at home against Northwestern State and includes games against Arkansas‑Pine Bluff, Yale, Jackson State, Memphis, Queens and several other opponents, with travel to Seattle for the season’s final road series.

Washington State University’s women’s basketball program unveiled a 16‑game non‑conference schedule for 2026‑27. The Cougars begin on the road at California (Nov. 2) and Oregon (Nov. 6), then host Idaho, Southern Utah and Washington at home. They will compete in the Cancun Challenge against Kansas and Missouri State, play at Nevada, and participate in a multi‑team event in San Diego. Additional matchups include UNLV, Liberty in Philadelphia’s Hawk Classic, and a season‑ending home game versus Cal State LA on Dec. 30.
