Baylor University earns 15th consecutive Honor Roll distinction for workplace excellence

Baylor University has earned Honor Roll distinction in the annual Great Colleges to Work For assessment, marking its 15th year receiving this recognition. Out of 171 surveyed post-secondary institutions, Baylor was one of 42 universities to achieve this status within the large institution category.

The university received high marks in several areas, including compensation and benefits, faculty and staff well-being, job satisfaction, mission and pride, and supervisor effectiveness. As a Christian institution, Baylor also provides specific spiritual health options, such as specialized Spiritual Wellbeing Leave.

Despite these workplace achievements, Baylor President Linda Livingstone notes that the institution faces significant challenges common to higher education. These include a looming demographic cliff, shifts in federal research funding, complexities regarding international student access, and changes in college athletics. Livingstone emphasizes a transformational mindset to navigate these industry-wide uncertainties.
