Baylor University introduces stadium upgrades and student advisory council

Baylor University is implementing several updates to enhance the game-day experience at McLane Stadium and increase student engagement for the upcoming season.

At McLane Stadium, fans can expect new amenities including the Baylor Backyard tailgating area, an expanded Touchdown Alley featuring live music and family activities, and a new stadium-wide LED lighting system. The university is also reintroducing the Bear Bell for home games and offering new concession options such as the Bear Claw and the 254 Classics Menu.

To address student attendance and engagement, Baylor Athletics has launched the Athletic Student Advisory Council. This 11-member group, led by the student council's External Vice President, meets monthly with athletics representatives to discuss communication strategies, such as improving email formatting and utilizing social media to better connect student-athletes with the campus community.
