Bayraklı Municipality holds basic first aid training seminar

Bayraklı Municipality and Izmir Metropolitan Municipality have organized a Basic First Aid Training Seminar to teach correct intervention methods during emergencies. The program, held at the Osmangazi Service Building, included both theoretical instruction and practical applications.

Led by Çağatay Delen, the manager of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality First Aid Training Center, the seminar covered essential topics such as patient and casualty assessment, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), artificial respiration, first aid for strokes, epilepsy seizures, and airway obstructions.

Bayraklı Mayor İrfan Önal emphasized the importance of the initiative, stating that knowing how to intervene correctly in emergencies can save lives. The program aims to increase public awareness and ensure that citizens and staff are prepared to act decisively in life-threatening situations.
