Bayraktar AKINCI successfully tests IHA-300 supersonic missile

The Bayraktar AKINCI Taarruzi İnsansız Hava Aracı (TİHA) has successfully completed a test firing of the IHA-300 supersonic ballistic missile. Developed by Roketsan, the missile was integrated into the AKINCI platform to enhance its long-range strike capabilities.

During the test, the AKINCI took off from the Çorlu Flight Training and Test Center in Tekirdağ and proceeded to a test range in the Black Sea. Off the coast of Sinop, the aircraft successfully struck a maritime target at a range exceeding 250 kilometers.

The integration of the IHA-300 follows the previous successful integration of the IHA-122 and IHA-230 supersonic missiles. This addition expands the AKINCI’s ability to engage various land and air targets using a wide array of domestic munitions, including the MAM series, TOLUN, and ÇAKIR cruise missiles.
