Bayreuth breaks ground on Regional Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center

The groundbreaking ceremony for the Regional Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center (RIZ) took place on October 9 in Bayreuth. Located on the University of Bayreuth campus, the center is a collaborative project supported by the City of Bayreuth, the District of Bayreuth, and the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs.

The facility aims to bridge the gap between academic research and regional entrepreneurship, transforming scientific knowledge into economic value and new jobs. In its initial years, the center's operations will receive significant financial support from the Oberfrankenstiftung.
