BayWa r.e. hires sales manager as German energy firm expands photovoltaic services

BayWa r.e. Solar Systems, operating in Austria, Slovenia and Croatia, announced a vacancy for an Area Sales Manager covering Upper Austria and Salzburg. The role involves advising PV installers and electricians, acquiring new customers, managing the full sales process and meeting revenue targets. Candidates must have at least three years of sales experience, preferably in technical or B2B environments, and a strong knowledge of photovoltaics. The position offers a gross monthly salary starting at €3,800 plus bonuses and a company car, with flexible working conditions and extensive training opportunities.

Separately, Florian Hohenloser, managing director of Erdgas Südwest Service GmbH, explained the company's shift from fuel‑cell heating and heat‑pump sales to a broader portfolio that now includes photovoltaic panels, battery storage, wall‑boxes and intelligent energy‑management systems. The firm markets these solutions as a holistic building‑energy approach, stating they “sell photovoltaic from the cellar” to integrate heat, electricity, storage and mobility. By developing its own installation capacity, the company aims to improve quality, timeliness and retain expertise in‑house.
