Baze University graduates 928 Jigawa youths in digital skills programme

Baze University has graduated 928 youths from Jigawa State following the completion of an intensive digital skills training programme. The initiative was part of the Federal Government’s World Bank-assisted Innovation Development and Effectiveness in the Acquisition of Skills (IDEAS) Project.

The graduation ceremony was hosted by the Jigawa State Government in Dutse and attended by Governor Malam Umar Namadi, the Minister of Education Dr. Moruf Olatunji Alausa, and the Minister of State for Education Prof. Suwaiba Sa’id Ahmad.

Participants received training in high-demand technological fields, including Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, and Software Engineering. The programme aims to equip young Nigerians with the practical competencies required for the nation's growing digital economy through collaboration between federal and state governments, universities, and development partners.
