B&B HOTELS to open new hotel in historic Częstochowa building

B&B HOTELS has announced plans to open a new 3-star hotel in the center of Częstochowa, Poland. The facility will be located at Piłsudskiego 5, occupying the historic building of the former Bank Handlowy.

The project, scheduled for completion between late 2027 and 2028, aims to preserve the architectural heritage of the early 20th-century structure under the supervision of a monument conservator. The renovation will repurpose significant historical spaces, such as the former bank vault and office rooms with original fireplaces, into a lobby, reception, breakfast room, and conference facilities. The hotel will also include a new section built on the courtyard.

The new establishment will offer 112 rooms and two conference rooms. Jakub Bilik, CEO of B&B HOTELS Poland, noted that the expansion into Częstochowa is a strategic move driven by the city's status as a major tourist destination, attracting over 4 million visitors annually, as well as its growing business and academic sectors.
