BB Sunrise Power fined for delayed bond information disclosure

BB Sunrise Power has been fined 92.5 million VND by the State Securities Inspectorate for violating regulations regarding the timely disclosure of information.

The energy company, which specializes in the production, transmission, and distribution of electricity, failed to release several key documents within the required timeframe. These delays, which exceeded 10 working days, included the 2023 annual financial report and various audited reports concerning the use of funds from bond issuances for the periods of 2023, 2024, and 2025.

Additionally, the company was cited for delays of less than 10 working days regarding information about the sale of collateral for bond code BBSP.H.20.23.001 and information regarding the completion of early redemption for the same bond. These delays prevented investors and stakeholders from accessing critical financial and bond-related data in a timely manner.
