B&B Vol Liefde participants Paul de Waal and Caroline highlighted in Spain

Paul de Waal runs B&B Can Jan Vives in Vidreres, about an hour from Barcelona. After his wife died in the summer of 2024, he joined the reality series B&B Vol Liefde to find a new partner. The B&B offers rooms with private bathrooms, a pool, a terrace and air‑conditioning. In high season a double room costs from €150 per night with a minimum three‑night stay, while off‑season rates start at €127 per night with no stay requirement.

Caroline, a 67‑year‑old Dutchwoman, moved to Estepona three years ago and now operates her own B&B there. She also works as a realtor and volunteers at a local dog shelter. Known as the “airfryer queen,” she has drawn viewer attention for her resemblance to Dutch singer Mary Borsato. On B&B Vol Liefde she hopes to meet a partner who matches her energy and work ethic.
