BBC Breakfast presenter Rachel Burden exits after 11‑year tenure

Rachel Burden confirmed she will leave BBC Breakfast after more than a decade on the programme. Her final appearance on the show aired on 12 July, after which she thanked the production team and fellow presenters for their support. Burden, who also presents BBC Radio 5 Live's Breakfast Show, highlighted her hopes for the broadcaster’s future in a recent interview.

The departure marks the end of a long‑running on‑screen partnership and will see a new face take over the flagship morning slot at the BBC.
