BBC confirms third season of LGBTQ+ comedy Smoggie Queens

The BBC has confirmed the third season of the British LGBTQ+ comedy series ‘Smoggie Queens’. Created, written, and starring Phil Dunning, the show is set in Middlesbrough and follows the lives of a chosen family consisting of queer individuals, allies, and drag queens.

Returning cast members include Phil Dunning as Dickie, Mark Benton as Mam, Alexandra Mardell as Lucinda, Patsy Lowe as Sal, and Elijah Young as Stewart. The upcoming season is expected to feature more well-known faces, following previous cameos from figures such as Michelle Visage and Charlotte Riley.
