BBC Gardeners' World Autumn Fair announces top garden award winners

The BBC Gardeners' World Autumn Fair, held at Audley End House and Gardens in Saffron Walden from September 11 to 13, recognized several standout garden designs with top honors.

The Association of Professional Landscapers (APL) team secured the Platinum award and Best Showcase Garden for their 'Elevated Garden Living' project. Designed by Paul Newman of Designscape, the project was a collaborative effort involving APL member companies from Essex, Suffolk, and Hertfordshire. The project also provided hands-on experience for two apprentices from Merrist Wood College.

In the Beautiful Borders category, Manchester-based designer Edward Doherty of J. Parker's won Best Beautiful Border and a Platinum award. His winning entry, titled 'Reflection,' utilized the theme 'Once Upon a Time' to create a nostalgic tribute to the Irish countryside and family heritage. Doherty also received the Best Subscriber Border award.
