BBC opens casting for new series of The Travelling Auctioneers
The BBC has announced a casting call for the next series of the daytime programme The Travelling Auctioneers. Filming is scheduled to run from summer through October 2026 and will feature auctioneers and specialist restorers working with families across the United Kingdom, including in Birmingham, Somerset and Yorkshire.
Selected households will have heirlooms, collections and other belongings assessed, restored and potentially put up for auction. The series will include auctioneers Bee Harford, Izzie Balmer and JB Broad, and restorers JJ Chalmers, Lauren Wood and Robin Johnson. Series producer Ami Anderson said the show aims to uncover the stories behind personal items. Applications close on 30 September via the BBC Take Part website.
