BBC updates football programming with new podcast schedule and interviews

The BBC is updating its Football Daily programming schedule. Rick Edwards and Lloyd Griffith are returning to host episodes twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays. Their content will be available via BBC Sounds, BBC iPlayer, and YouTube, following a successful run during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Additionally, the BBC’s ‘The Football Interview’ featuring Kelly Somers will continue its Saturday broadcasts on BBC One and digital platforms. The latest episode features Luton Town manager Jack Wilshere, who discussed his transition from a professional playing career at Arsenal and for England into his current management role at Luton Town.
