Böblingen district allocates eight million euros for infrastructure
The Böblingen district has allocated approximately eight million euros for 2026 to improve transport infrastructure. This funding is divided into roughly four million euros for new construction and expansion projects, and three million euros for the maintenance of district roads, supplemented by federal and state subsidies.
Key projects include the renovation of the K 1014 in Weil der Stadt-Merklingen, which aims to improve the town passage and address problematic curve situations near the town hall. Additionally, work is progressing on bicycle path connections between Rutesheim and Weissach-Flacht. The district has already completed measures on the K 1061 between Weil der Stadt-Hausen and Tiefenbronn-Lehningen.
