BBP Niğde officials address economic concerns and party strategy

Büyük Birlik Partisi (BBP) held an expanded provincial council meeting in Niğde to discuss regional issues, producer expectations, and party organizational strategies. The meeting, led by Central Anatolia Regional President Hakan Ayantaş, focused on the socio-economic structure of the region and the specific challenges faced by local farmers and producers.

During the proceedings, Niğde Provincial Chairman Bünyamin Karataş criticized the current economic landscape, alleging that real production, industry, and employment are being sidelined in favor of rent-seeking activities. Karataş specifically pointed to high gains from real estate, zoning, and stock market fluctuations, arguing that these trends encourage opportunism and favoritism over genuine industrial investment.

Karataş called for greater accountability, stating that public power and bureaucracy should not be used for personal gain and that those responsible for unfair enrichment must be held accountable under the law.
