BBVA issues record dividend of 0.37 euros per share

BBVA is distributing a record interim dividend of 0.37 euros gross per share on October 15, 2026. This payment, totaling approximately 2,000 million euros, represents a 16% increase compared to the 2025 interim dividend of 0.32 euros.

The deadline to purchase shares with dividend rights was October 12. Following the ex-dividend date on October 13 and the record date on October 14, the bank reported that shareholder remuneration since 2025 has reached nearly 14,200 million euros, supported by a record first-half profit of 6,051 million euros.

In the broader Spanish banking sector, Banco Santander is scheduled to pay a dividend of 0.127 euros gross per share on November 2, which is a 10% increase over the previous year. The deadline for Santander shareholders to acquire rights to this payment is October 28.
