BBX Baby Kids Tekstil declared bankrupt in Bursa

BBX Baby Kids Tekstil, a long-standing textile company based in Bursa, Turkey, has been declared bankrupt by the Bursa 2nd Civil Court of First Instance. The company, which has operated in the baby and children's clothing sector since 1965, was unable to rectify its financial structure during a concordat process that began in May 2026.

The court ruled that the company is insolvent and that recovery through a concordat is not possible. Consequently, the request for a definitive grace period was rejected, and the liquidation process has officially commenced. The court also terminated the duties of the board of commissioners and lifted previous temporary injunctions and measures.

Operating with two factories, BBX Baby Kids Tekstil was a significant exporter, shipping products to 24 countries, including Italy, Spain, Greece, and Russia.
