Ontario suspects face upgraded first-degree murder charges
The Ontario Provincial Police have upgraded murder charges to first-degree for two suspects involved in a homicide in Perth, Ontario. Joseph Madore, 34, and Brayton Kennedy, 28, are currently at large and are wanted for the death of 34-year-old Christo Allison Richards, who died after sustaining life-threatening injuries at Last Duel Park on April 12.
Police believe Madore may be in British Columbia, potentially traveling through or camping in remote backcountry areas, with known connections to Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Terrace, and Richmond. Kennedy is believed to be in New Brunswick. Two other individuals have already been charged: a 46-year-old from Perth for conspiracy to commit murder and 32-year-old Lyna Du for accessory after the fact.
Authorities are urging the public not to approach the suspects and to call 911 immediately if they are spotted. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
