BC. Game benches electroNic for strategic roster shift

Esports organization BC. Game has benched Denis “electroNic” Sharipov as part of a strategic move to improve its chances of qualifying for the PGL Major in Singapore. The decision is reportedly based on regional classification rather than player performance.

By replacing the Russian player with Australian Tyson “asap” Paterson, the team aims to shift its regional status from Europe to Asia in the VRS rankings. Currently ranked 36th in Europe, the team sits outside the direct invitation range. However, with the addition of an Australian player to join Mongolian players Senzu and mzinho, the roster would qualify as having an Asian core. This shift could move the team to fourth in the Asian rankings, where five Major slots are available.

BC. Game CEO Ali Muhanned stated that the move was not a reflection of electroNic’s play, noting that the team is still new. If the signing is finalized, the roster will consist of Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev, Azbayar “Senzu” Munkhbold, Emil “Magisk” Reif, Ayush “mzinho” Batbold, and Tyson “asap” Paterson, coached by Wiktor “TaZ” Wojtas.
