BC Halal Food Fest expands to three days, expects over 100,000 attendees

The British Columbia Halal Food Fest marks its fifth anniversary in 2026, expanding from a two‑day to a three‑day event running July 24‑26 at the Cloverdale Fairgrounds in Surrey. The festival will occupy the area around the Bill Reid Millennium Amphitheatre and feature more than 50 food and drink vendors, 70 market stalls, live stage performances and a family‑friendly carnival with rides.

Organisers anticipate a record crowd of over 100,000 visitors, up from previous events that attracted around 60,000. Admission is free, and attendees are expected from the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, Alberta and the United States.

The event is promoted as Canada’s largest halal food festival, celebrating five years of food, culture and community.
